Keyboards And Accessories

Casio Privia PX-160

I always recommend the Casio Privia because it is fully weighted and has all 88 keys. This is a keyboard that feels good to play, sounds good to listen to, and that students will be able to grow with. As an added bonus it is exceptionally light, and easy to transport, which can be useful when it comes to navigating NYC.

Casio CTK 3500

For a more apartment friendly sized keyboard, the Casio CTK 3500 is a good start for a beginner. The keys are touch sensitive so children will be able to practice dynamics straight away. Eventually, and upgrade will be required, but for most this will last 3 - 4 years.

On-Stage KS8291XX Pro Double-X Keyboard Stand

This is my favorite keyboard stand, and the one that I personally use. It is extremely durable, easy to adjust, and will last forever.
